About Cameron

Cameron considers his career as a stylist a natural extension of a life long interest in the Arts, Dance, Music and Theater.  As a youth, Cameron was a model for the stylists in his home town of Binghamton, NY.  As a young man, he continued to model for Vidal Sassoon in both New York City and in London, as well as for Moddfini in New York.  To view some of Cameron's modeling photos, Click here.

Formal training to become a stylist himself began in 1991 and includes studies at Anousheh Hair Designs, Toni & Guy (Dallas), and Rusk Academy (LA).  In 1997 Cameron trained as a colorist with José Eber and worked in both the NY and Beverly Hills solons.  Cameron has also worked and studied with Oribé and Louis Lacari.

In 2000 Cameron moved to St Petersburg to work at the hair salon of the Vinoy Hotel.  Later he accepted a position with Belleview Bilmar at Eclips.  Wanting to return to the heart of St Petersburg, Cameron next took a position with Applause! Applause! where he stayed for four and a half years before striking out on his own with Cameron Hair.
